Hi! X-Particles refuses to work with octane motion blur. Cinema 4d crash. Cinema R20 Octane v4.00. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

X-Particles Motion Blur

You'll have to bake your particle mesh object to an alembic mesh making sure that X-Particles will also create vertex maps for X, Y, and Z velocities (you'll need them in the Octane Object Tag on the resulting Alembic mesh.) I'll post a tutorial on this shortly as I've had the same issues with RealFlow and Volume Meshes in R20.
Did you try with latest builds?

It looks like I was using 4.0. Now that I've updated to the latest version the problem's gone.
I'm uploading the scene anyways as a reference.
Thanks.

This still happens.... add octane tag to xpOVDBMesher, change to vertex speed add in your velocity data, refresh octane and boom instant hang every time.

If you want to avoid crash with Particles / OctaneObject Tag + Motion blur you need to add XP-Cache to your system and build a cache.
I don't even need to Alembic it. Just cache it and motion blur will happen without any crash (most of the time)
