Hi everyone,
With the new ORBX loader coming to the Cinema 4D plugin, I suddenly find a lot of reasons to do stuff inside Standalone, to then import into Cinema 4D.
However, I'm really getting bogged down by the navigation inside the Render Viewport. I finally got around understanding how to orbit, move and zoom around, but there's one thing I really miss sorely and that's an equivalent to C4D's 'Frame selected Object' command, which zooms the viewport to the selected object/mesh and centers the rotation around it.
It's a pretty simple command that exists under all kinds of names in every 3D package, so I don't get why Standalone doesn't seem to offer this. Could this be implemented anytime soon? Zooming around the viewport gets quite tedious, especially if you've got various objects at different scales within one scene.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
