Hey,
is it possible in Blender Octane to define a mesh object as a .orbx or .ocs proxy - like you can do in Modo?
This would be very helpful for a large scene I'm working on ...
Best,
David

No, I don't think that's possible at the moment.
What about using the link/Proxy option? You can reference a group or a whole Blender scene using it.

Hey,
I've tried that but that does not help in my case.
The orbx proxy option in the modo plugin is superb - you should put that into blender octane as well!
Best,
David

An info from BK from OctaneRender team:
The ORBX Proxy is a new feature only available in the refactored Octane for Maya plugin and this is also added in todo list as high priority.
