Hi,

I have problems with V4.0-RC7-R2 in R20. I´ve added the console.txt and the _Bugreport.zip in this thread.

Thanks but this is not a bug! You have two Octane dlls in the search paths. See
Octane Render SDK version: 4.00 RC7
The plugin ID '1029499' in file 'c4dOctane-R20.xdl64' collides with the same ID in file 'C4dOctane-R20.xdl64'

Hi aoktar,

First of all thank you for your quick response. A duplicate file with the same name was also my first thought. however, all scans of drive c: (volume with all the C4D data and plugin paths) found only one file with the name.
see also my three attached screenshots. However, I notice that in the console one file is written in small letters and the other is capitalized. can one determine over the console in which paths which file was found?
I am despairing because I can not find the (supposedly existing) second file.

Other file should be named as c4dOctane_R20.xdl64. Because I've changed name in latest builds.

Hi aoktar,

how do we continue now? Despite repeated scanning I can not find a second file with the same name in the paths or on the drive.

I have solved the problem (even if I do not quite understand it). I deleted C4DOctane from the general plugin path and created a separate path for Octane and
put in the necessary files. Now Octane works well under R20 (happy) and there is no conflict anymore. Is it possible that the second file was possibly hidden
under Windows and was therefore not found by the search?
