Hello,

I know this is a very over posted question but I've looked through the FAQS and the forum for this problem but still can't seem to solve it. Unfortunately I'm still new to octane and I think I'm missing something trivial. I've attached the LV and final render image and there are emissive differences in the tendrils in the final render. My render settings in LV and render are the same (I have it set to "Resend Only Updated Objects") and I tried putting object tags on the emissive objects as well. I'm using the 3.08.2-R3 version of Octane.

Hi,
firstly update to 3.08.5-R3:
viewtopic.php?f=85&t=69189
Then check the subdivision of your mesh, Live View uses the viewport subdivision, while Picture Viewer uses the final resolution, and this could be an issue with emissive geometry.
ciao Beppe
