Is there any way to turn off an object casting shadows that has a material with opacity material applied?
For example, I have a plane that I want as a logo. I apply the logo material which has an alpha channel.
Select object properties and uncheck "cast shadows", however the lettering/logo still casts shadows onto object behind this. How can we go about disabling this?

I tried searching the forum for answers, however the forum search function doesn't work as anticipated (returns too many results.)

I think alpha shadows must be on.

Yes. I've been disabling "Cast Shadows" all along but again, it doesn't work as the material with opacity map still casts shadows.
Using Version 3.08.3 - 5.15 if that makes any difference.
