Octane unusable under R20

Hi Folks,

Is there already a usable release, which works under the R20 of C4D? Have just tried 4.0-RC5 and do not even get a simple cube rendered without C4D crashes. That's really annoying.
When is finally the final, stable 4er version for the C4D plugin out?

When is finally the final, stable 4er version for the C4D plugin out?

There is not yet a final version of the v4 Octane core, so obviously there can't be a final plugin.
If you want stable use v3.08 - 4

What's the problem? Cuda errors with V4-RC5? I can render many of scenes without any problems. You can try different nvidia drivers.

The problem is thats my C4D crashed if I starting render with the new pluginversion without any error code. To see the reason I should use a crystall globe.
Where I can see the reason code ? I´m an artist and no technician/programmer. Should I use every existing nvidia driver ?
A little help with finding a fault would be very helpful.

Can you provide some info about your computer / setup?
OS, Video card(s), driver versions etc. Any info will help.
Have you tested Octane standalone, and can you render from there OK?

You can read what to do for crashes in release topic. But just drop your bugreport.zip for start.
