Hi, hopefully someone can answer this for me. I'm demoing the latest C4D and I can't seem to get the Octane plugin (or any plugin for that matter) installed. They don't even show up in C4D's plugins menu. I've tried installing to both the Application's 'Program Files' directory and the roaming directory for preferences, but nothing. So far I'm impressed with C4D and I want to see what's possible using Octane now.

Hi,

after unzipping the plugin, be sure to throw it into C4D plugins folder,
the correct path should look like this:

Cinema4D\plugins\OctaneExport

That "OctaneExport" folder contains a "res" subfolder, and two *.cdl files.
Check this.
Restart C4D and it will be listed within the plugins..

hmm. yep that's exactly what I had done. I just re-downloaded the .zip and did it again, now everything is good-to-go. I think I may have actually downloaded the wrong RX version previously. Thanks for the help, now on to the fun!
