Most important pc-parts to focus on?

Hello,

Not sure if this is the right forum section (seems that I can't post in other section on this forum yet).

I'm putting together a PC that will be able to render with Octane. The thing is that I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to pc build. First time builder.

I have a limited budget (1200$) and I want to maximize the computer with that budget. But my problem is that I don't really know what pc parts I should focus on the most.

I did follow a pc-build from a blog, but the total cost would be over 1500$.


My question is: What pc-parts should I invest most of my budget in for a good PC for Octane rendering?


I know graphics cards are important but other than that, I'm pretty lost.

I recommend you hybrid or fouder edition GPUs.
The more Ram, the better.
