Is this really a thing? It seems like a complete waste of time to support AutoCAD with Octane.
The last post in from 2014 and the plugin only support autoCAD up to the 2017 version. This means that the version after March 21, 2016 has not been supported.
Please just kill the support for AutoCAD and focus your efforts on the important software (Revit?). Same thing with Softimage, that software died in 2014. It's just a momentous waste of time, money and efforts.
