Hi,

We have just updated to octane 3.08.1.92 on Rhino 6 SR6 and couldn't find a way to copy one material (A) and paste it as the first material of a mix material (B)
Tried exporting material (A) and then importing into the mix material (B) but it just replaces (B) for (A) entirely.

Is the copy and paste option no longer available on this update from 3.07?
Can you help?

Thank you.

Editing Mix Materials inside the plugin interface is limited to manually editing the the Default Glossy and Diffuse materials in the Mix Material Property Tree

The only workaround would be to setup mix materials in the Standalone, then import it directly to Rhino.

E.g. Create the Mix Material in SE, save to ORBX, and then use the Import Option on the Materials Tab to bring it in. Does that help?

Hi,
click with right mouse over the material. Then click Custon Section: Parameters. Here you have the copy and paste commands.

bye

Thanks fabrizio

You right click over the section you want to copy right, not the actual material?
