Hi Paride,

We have a shot where the sub is going down in water. The terrain is not visible at the very bottom but it creates very slow render times. It is set as octane infinite plane with simple texture . Why does it slow down the rendering by 10 times?
we tried camera 1 frame 244

Thank you

Hi coilbook,
I'm not sure this is a bug; eliminating everything from your scene except plane, Octanedaylight and camera, no issue seems to happen.
I think it depends on rays when they bounce on the infinite Octane plane Octane through volume medium.
