Node editor suggestions

Hi, i d love to see 2 things in the editor.
a) Pressing TAB or another shortcut to type ur material (like nuke nodes).
b) Customise the side menu eg. i dont need to see all those textures on the side. I d like to make my favorites.

Maybe add something like the commander from Cinema 4D to search nodes instead I know we have a search bar on top but having it assign to a shortcut and then appear under the mouse would be amazing.
Also something a little bit more advanced could be the ability to assign shortcuts to specific nodes like 'M' for multiply and 'I' for images texture.

You can use this search field to look nodes. And category buttons.

Yes i know, but is far more convinient with the other ways we suggested. TAB and write what u need, saves alot of time in every node app. Like shift+C in c4d.

Also the category buttons act as filtering and not as making a list with only the ones u want We d love to see those changes in there, if are easy to achieve. Also shortcuts as Terry said might be a very good way of doing things as well!
