Hi!

I'm struggling a bit trying to understand the motion blur parameters in the kernel Animation tab.
Specifically which values that affects Camera versus Object motionblur.

Is it possible for you Paul to add some sections in the form to make it a bit more intuitive?
Animation samples per frame for instance, is that only applicable for object motion blur? What is a high value here?
The last parameter Frame step seems to related to Animation rather than Motion blur if I'm correct?

Sorry, I feel a bit retarded but I have to ask. :ugeek:

Check out https://docs.otoy.com/ModoH/ModoPluginM ... ations.htm - which contains most of the info you need - although is a little out date with the UI changing recently. Also mouse-over the Animation properties to get additional information via the tooltip. Let me know if this does not answer your questions.

I think i got it.
I can see that when rendering out images from my animation to exr files several images have no motion blur.
The distribution of frames with no motion blur is completely random.
Any idea what that could be about?

Thanks btw!

I'm using the latest build OctaneRender 3.08.1 (3080100)
