Hi,

Still working in LW 2015.3 I run into a problem where I parent an object to a human hand (the bones) but Octane won't render the object. It will render it when I parent it to the IK target (a Null), but this way the object isn't firmly stuck to the movements of the hand.

Do any of you guys recognize this?
Thanks in advance.

I remember some kind of problems related to the parented objects if the pivot point was not in the center, but really it is hard to say what could be the problem. Can you send me a scene to reproduce this problem here?

Thanks,

Its a LW 2015 BUG! With LW 2018 you can parent geometry on bones (also with deformed geometry) and render it.

Ok, I'll try in LW 2018, reason why I do this scene in 2015 is that LW 2018 does something with the surfaces (octane surfaces also) and I'm already too far into the project to change it all...

But thanks anyways, I'll give it a try, just to be sure :)
