Hello everyone,

I'm trying to create a scene with heavy DoF, however the highlights in the background create a heavy boekh effect which i dont like, is there a way to turn this of so the background is more or less only blurred, without strong boekh? and an additional question for other scenes (not so important): is there a way to create different boekh, not only the round one?
bottom right corner for example is what im trying to avoid

There are quite a few bokeh settings in the octane camera tag just below your fstop.
These can give you different shapes and effects.
Not sure what you mean by turning it off, and still having shallow depth of field though.
