Is there a problem with the 4.00 XB1 when setting cubemaps VR and denoising.
The denoiser seems to work but the preview is black.

Hi Jasonr,
denoiser is limited in resolution at the moment, and needs a lot of VRAM with large frame buffers, if VRAM is not enough, the denoised render is black.
Please, use the following Lua script to generate a new RT with animated cube faces of 1536x1536pixels:

Thank you Bepe.
I just want to produce pictures for Vive not anything animated.
Pitty that my orbx file was only 90mb (really small model of only one room) and the denoiser is not functional.
Is there any script for cubemaps... (although I ;ve never used a sript before)?

Hi Jasonr,
you need to export your scene to Standalone, select the Cube Map Render Target, open the Script Editor window, load and execute the linked script.
In the node graph you should see a new Grouped node with the new animated Render Target, select it and enable the denoiser or other Rt settings as you want.
When ready, go to Script/Batch Rendering, and select the Rt animated Cube map for Rendeting.
At the end you should have the six or twelve faces rendered, ready to be joined in PS in a unique Cube Map image, to be transfered on any VR set.
ciao Beppe

I guess it is an experimental build and work still needs to be done, i am confident we will be able to render at full resolution with denoiser soon! *fingers crossed!!!!*
