Hi,
I am trying to understand what I am doing wrong here.
I have a very simple scene with a fractured glass pane (an extruded vectorizer), a black plane behind it and two moving area lights in front to light up the cracks. The desired result is to get only the reflections/speculars of the cracks in the glass so I can use it for a composite in after effects. The problem I have is that the two lights insist on showing up in the glass regardless of settings!
The visibility tab has both camera and shadow visibility unchecked and also general visibility set to 0
On the light settings tab both "Visible on diffuse" and "Visible on specular" is checked. If I uncheck the "Visible on specular" the light completely stops affecting the glass.
The only way I can get the reflections of the light to disappear in the glass is by turning off "Reflection" int he glass material which is obviously not what I want to do.
I am working towards a deadline with this and would be immensely grateful if any one of you knowledgeable people could help me out!
I have attached an early test version of the scene if you want to take a look. Thanks a million in advance!
