As per the title of my question, is it likely that we will ever see an OpenGL viewport setting in Octane? Blender has Eevee, Cinema 4D has it's Enhanced OpenGL viewport and I'm sure Modo and others have their own equivalent. They are amazing for art directing as you create but they all depend on each application's own native shader system which means if I ever want to take advantage of these enhanced viewport features I have to use create all my shaders twice (once for the viewport with native materials and again with Octane materials for rendering finals with Octane).
I know that a big benefit of Octane is how fast the viewport is right off the bat but being able to get a REAL realtime preview for animating etc would be an absolute dream.
If there is an easier way to get something similar set up in Cinema 4D at present that would be awesome, otherwise do you think we will ever see Octane getting it's own OpenGL preview mode?
Cheers
