Hi Octaners,
On a few of the projects I have worked with Octane, there has been a recurring issue that is extremely frustrating.
I would leave a render on over night or for a few hours then come back to the computer. It would still be rendering as I have left the s/px at 16000.
The mouse would be moving slowing as both my graphics cards are busy rendering and by accident I move the scene.
I then jump up and down screaming at the heavens. I don't know if anyone else has had this happen to them but after waiting 9 hours for a render and at the end moving your mouse and losing everything can make a person go crazy.
So firstly am I the only one that this happens to due to my excitement of saving the render or are there others out there.
Secondly I was thinking that if there was a button that could freeze the camera so that in order to move around in the scene again you have to press button and then you can move again.
So when I have found that perfect view in the scene I can press the button and the camera is unable to move until I press the button again.
There can even be a red button on the top right of the screen telling you the button has been activated.
Anyway that's my idea.
Thanks Octane Team for your constant development and just a great software.

Actually you already have it.Its the padlock button located on the Render Preview pane.click it to lock it when starting to render a scene and then you cannot move the view and start the render again by accident.
