stereoscopy settings

Hi, I was wondering about some settings for the stereoscopy renders. I noticed that the 'Stereo mode' option is greyed out, is there some other setting that need to be changed for this to be enabled? Or is this a bug? Also if 'off-axis' stereo mode is enabled, is there some way to set the zero paralax distance?

Have you changed Camera Lens from Perspective to Panoramic?
CPU – i9 13900KF, 128GB RAM, GPU – RTX 4090

yes, attached are the other settings. I also tested if the parallax distance is maybe set to focus distance, but it is not so.
