Hello all, I have been having HUGE issues with octane and cinema 4d crashing and now it is completely inoperable, I have not been able to finish a project in two weeks.
My specs -
Windows 10 pro version 1703
64 gb RAM
2x GTX 1080
Cinema 4d R18.057
Octane version 3.05.3
Nvidia Driver version 382.05
I have tried the most recent versions of octane and Nvidia drivers all the way back to the ones currently installed and no luck regardless. All my other drivers on the PC are up to date. Every time i try to render a project it freezes my whole computer at some point during the render and I have to hard reset via the power. Other than the freezing, the octane plug in just takes an insane amount of time to load even with a single object and simple material.
I have noticed I am not the only one experiencing this, If anyone can shed some light or provide me with solutions it would be much appreciated

Here we solved a lot of problems (using Windows 10) un-checking "Use Octane for OpenGL preview" under "settings/other"
