i have a volume container at around 800cm square.
octane live viewer is off. volume is displayed in viewport as an object (no points)
when i scale the volume up (2800cm) my ram usage jumps to 9gb, and at 4800cmx800x4800 its 20gb and goes up to 28gb at rendertime.
if i turn it off (both in viewport, render view, and the deactivate it entirely) the ram usage stays at 20gb.
it has to be an error of some sort since it impossible to create large scale volumes this way.
how do i fix this?
