I'm actualy discovering animation with octane and it's promising very good things ( no GI glitching, constant grain, exept the lack of real motion blur...) but there is something very anoying, sure easy to change ( i hope ):
when you render an animation, the octane screen appears for each new frame calculating and it's a prior task.
Result: when you are working on another soft ( like text typing ), each time the screen appears, each time you have to reclcik on the other appli to continue working with : very difficult to work ( quite impossible to type text with short computation of anim-trame in octane ).
Is it possible to add a 'calculate in background task' option to choose ?
and even better, simple batch render system on 3D-Apps exporters ( always with this background task system)...?
Improvment very appreciated and easy to realise ( i hope )

I think Marcus work on the backgound think.
Batchrender is only usefull if you have multiply machines or multiple scenes that you can split the jobs.
For one scene, it makes no sense because you launched for every frame Octane, render, save the image, close Octane and again from the beginning.
It´s the same, what the plugins do.
