I know Nvidia threw folks for a loop with the release Pascal and there were optimizations needed before the speed of the cards could be fully realized.
I know some work was completed and improvements realized. Is there any more to come in maxing out Octane w/Pascal architecture?
Are Pascal Optimizations 'Finished' ?

Bump. I'm guessing all optimizations relative to Pascal are completed, but I'd like to know for sure. Obviously Octane is always getting optimized, but I'd like to know if more work specific to Kepler is still in the pipeline--or if it's finished.
Other than continuous optimizations as we add features (e.g. OSL and metallic material, BRDFs in 3.08+) Pascal is largely completed. We are currently working on Volta optimizations for 3.09+.
