Good morning community.

I have a question that is pretty simple but is giving me quite a headache (Yes I'm new to Octane)

I have a lightbulb and am having a hard time creating realistic glass with it. I have included an image that shows how the glass looks like a solid bulb, which isn't what I want. But when I go into modeler to give the glass two sides (roughly 1mm thickness), suddenly my surface goes completely black, and I don't know what is causing this to happen.

Thanks to anybody who can help me!

You could try increasing your Specular Depth inside your kernel.

Also, check the kernel ray epsilon parameter, perhaps it is too big or small for this scene.

Thanks,
