Unity 2017.2.1f1 not supported?

Downloaded version 1.0 (Dec 14, 2017) and attempted to install in Unity 2017.2 to get the following error:

Update: Closing the Unity editor and restarting prompted an update dialog and that did install correctly and the docking bay scene is rendering in 2017.2.1f1 after a lengthy geometry compile. So if installing Octane from the asset store seems to be giving you trouble, try just restarting the Unity editor.

Thanks for providing a workaround! We are going to look into fixing the initial problem nevertheless.
