hey guys, im tryin to render a scene with an airplane, but i cant set an environment material and have sun at the same time can i.. how would i approach this? in 3dsmax i would add an environment image, and use hdri map , but in octane it seems i can go one way or the other, basically i want the airplane, sky , and sunlight.. how would i approach this? sorry about this im kinda tryin to figure octane out.. thnx again

1.) Render with sun, save with alpha, composite background
2.) Render with HDRI, use emitter for sun
3.) If possible you can put the background on a plane or other mesh and render it together, to get some reflections
Of course it would be nice to use HDRI with sun, at least for reflections if not for illumination..

To save the render without the background, you must enable alphachannel in the preview kernel during rendering.
