Hi Ahmet,
This is an issue that's here since day one with the plugin, But with the last project we worked on, its become a real pain in the ass.
Basically, the problem is that every time Octane compile the scene and send to renderer, The matID colors change randomly, Example is here: https://vgy.me/q7duCg.gif
That happens for each new task when you use render manage like Thinkbox Deadline (or any other render manager)
So if you have 200 frames shot, and each task is 20 frames, so every 20 frames the MatID colors will change randomly - What makes its hard on compositing.
So it's a half feature request - But i wish it will be possible to "lock" the MatID colors so it won't change on each new job submission
Thanks!
(And thanks again for all the great progress lately with the plugin, you the best)

matID order is simply calculated by Octane not plugin. And i believe there's a relationship with count+number of materials. So i'm not sure why this happens. Maybe different versions on other clients?

Nop. happen on the same machine.
Every time new task is starting, new color for the Mat ID generated.
I tried now to re-create it inside C4D, but indeed the Mat IDs are constant in the live viewer.
Any idea what else can cause it?

Hi Yambo,
if I remember well, the MaID is assigned randomly by the core engine based on the number of materials, so you need to assign your personal Object color IDs with Octane Object tags, if you want to have consistent colors in any condition.
