Hello Marvez,

I have to say that this time settings have been really important to render at 2560*1440 the pictures. Usually this size took 20+ hours to render with 2x GTX 760 2GB, but with good settings of adaptive sampling it took only 2h30m.

Illumination by HDR outside, real emitters inside (no ies lights, only emitter materials)

Samples 20 000
Diffuse depth 8
Specular depth 16
GI clamp 1

Adaptive sampling

noise threshold 0.04
minimum samples 192
group pixels 2x2

everything else as default

2h30m at 2560x1440

If the objects were a bit crooked, it would be impossible to know if it is 3D or a photograph
Very nice work

Hello Terryvfx,

Thanks for the holy cow
In reality I just have done a good choice with the HDR picture outside, set up the rotation only once, and it was fitting perfectly for every camera in the scene, automatically.
No other light sources from outside, so interiors are really mixed with the environment, the only real emitters are into the spot lights in the ceiling highlighting the shelves. Really easy.

Holy guacamole! Gorgeous!

Yeah, grocery stores, hell, any stores, look sooooo much better and feel so much more comfy and inviting when they have dark ceilings and kick-ass lighting. Our grocery store looks eerily similar to this. Really nice work! ;)
