Hey All,

There is probably a simple solution to this issue I'm running into, but I thought I should ask anyway.

I am trying to setup a nice cloud scene with VDB's that I have made. I have copy/pasted a few of them and the areas where the bounding box seems to end is creating ugly straight shadows in areas. Anyone know how to fix this or is it even possible to fix?

I have marked the image if it wasn't already obvious where the issues are.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi, Inky,

Please try lowering the Volume step length and the Density Scale value if the cloud appears dense.

Also, changing Octane Kernal to PT would render the volume much precisely.

We have attached a sample file for reference. If it doesn't solve, please email us a sample file. Thank you !!

You were right! I thought I had the step length cranked in where it needed to be, bit I was wrong!

Thank you very much!
