I have a piece of cloth with a displacement for close up shots and need motion blur -

I know this currently isn't possible but I believe there may be a solution with sub-frame motion blur - similar to what was used for fluid motion blur before we had vertex speed support

What is the general workflow for this?

Hello,

I too am looking for a way to get this working.

In my case I want to render liquids with MB. The geometry supplier is Houdini so I should have no problem configuring it the way Octane wants. However, I can't find any reference to how Octane reads the vertex speeds. Does anyone have experience with this?

Thank you for your help,
Martin

Looks like we have support for motion vector on displaced geometries.

Hi Aoktar - I think we may have crossed wires here - sorry if it wasn't clear

I'm talking about vertex motion blur on meshes that have octane displacement maps
