Hi,

i am comparing two Workstation in our office @hh-vision.de. Cadnetwork claims the workstation with max. power for bunkspeed shot. But this software is awful. In my Opinion Octane is much better !!!!!!1111. But i cant get it work very well. I ive installed latest version "OctaneRender_COM_1024_beta246_win_x64_cuda32" on both workstations and opened the same scene. Best performance has my gtx580 sli system with 2x more ms/sec and fps. It should be inverted. It seems that the 3x Tesla dont work in Octane but Octane tell me 4 devices in the renderbar on the right. Also in Preferences are 4 devices active. Ive installed latest Quadro driver and latest Tesla driver from Nvidia with no effect. Who can help me get it work with octane.

If you are using multiple gpu's with the latest RC, you need to use CUDA 3.0. See here for more information: http://www.refractivesoftware.com/forum ... =24&t=6270. Maybe that is your issue?

I have a similar issue. I upgraded to Cuda 3.2 and now my multiple cards are multiple cards no more. I am hesitant to roll back in case I mess something up. Any instructions out there on how to do this correctly?

Thanks

octane render download page wrote:CUDA 3.2: Recommended version with better support for modern GPUs (like GeForce GTX 4xx/5xx), which should be used if you are not rendering on more than one GPU.
Possibly using drivers pre 3.2 might fix this?

Just install 3.0 version, should still be activated...
