So, I'm totally having problems with hair.

I simply put just want to clone a patch of grass. What I do is make a disc > simulate hair > live render updates. But when I update the render, the hair often disappears? I have tried fiddling with the Heir Render tab under Render Settings, but alas nothing happens. Nothing also happens when I try to clone a disc with hair, any ideas how come? It (sometimes, it also sometimes leaves NO hair at all) leaves hair on the original disc, but not on the cloned discs. Can't seem to make those clones get hairy... :/

I can't see any sample scenes to figure what you do, you? It's five sec to get answer if you do.

As you can see it's not an Octane issue. Same results on C4D's renderer too. Do you have another example?
