I was wondering how to/if you can convert a .lib4d of Cinema 4D Octane materials so that they work in Octane Standalone version. I understand it is a .orbx file? But how would you convert 300+ materials so that they are easily accessible in the Standalone version and can be easy to navigate through? Is this possible? Would love any input or direction. Thanks so much!!
Download some materials to scene without assign to objects. Start LV render and call LV->File->Edit In Standalone. You'll see all materials here.

That works great! So, then you would "file/Save As Package" and then that packaged .orbx file would contain all the materials for other people to use? Do you know if there is any way to "organize" or have "folders" of materials inside the .orbx file? Is there any better way to give this to other people as a product, like using the LocalDB folder option? Thanks!
You can use save from context menu and select location as localdb. Then look saved files. Orbx is a compact format which contains all textures/etc..
