How can I have a separate pass for the fog I created with Octane Volume object?

Hi SphericalChicken,
since volumes are not polygons, currently you can only assign a different object layer, and render it via Render Layer passes, to render it separately from the rest of the scene.

You can use the Volume mask option, in the section Beauty passes. Checking this box allows you to generate a mask for all vdb volumes.
