Hi, I'm trying to render animated materials on ORC.

The attached scene is an example of a box that has a Mix material that switches between a normal diffuse material and a diffuse material with emission.

Both exporting directly to ORC from 3DSMax or through Octane Standalone skips the animated materials completely.

Are animated materials not supported on ORC? Or did I miss a setting?

Unfortunately it's not possible to set the animation values inside Octane Standalone, because the animation is so complex over so many objects that it had to be scripted with Maxscript.

Thank you for any help!

Odd we've rendered animated textures and materials before. If the ORBX exporter isn't catching them then this is an issue to confirm with the plugin sub form dev

Okay thank Goldorak. I'll just render it on my own machine now.

Hi Reality4,
Octane 3dsMax plugin 4.35 is out.
Added export of animated material parameters (can be disabled in Global Settings).
