Hi,
Here's my situation. I mainly working on a Hackintosh, it got a Quadro K4000 and I've tested it and it's not good for Octane.
I also have a Windows 10 machine, with GTX 1070 and i7-6600K. I want to know that
1. Can I use Octane render with my Windows machine (with a better GPU) when using C4D on my Hackintosh (Network rendering)?
2. If so, how many licenses do I need to do this?

Thanks!

Hi tukishiro,
you need a Combo license Standalone + c4doctane for the Hackintosh, and a Standalone license for the Win 10 machine to use with network daemon.
Here is a couple of links about the Network rendering feature:
Overview
Enabling The Network Rendering Feature
Note that the GPU with less VRAM determs the maximum quantity of VRAM usable, since the entire scene needs to be loaded on each GPU.
There is a known issue with Win 10 and VRAM consumption, while Win 7 and 8.1 are not affected:
