Is there a way of getting XP Trails to cast light onto other objects in the scene, I cant seem to find a way of getting the trails to cast light or reflections onto other objects in the scene .
The emission casts lights and reflection's from particles emitters but not the trail object.
I am trying to avoided using the sweep object to generate the trails.
Any help is appreciated.

Note that emissions work with front side of faces not back side. And note that "surface_brightness" is a parameter which scale illumination by surface area. I'll move topic to one level up.
