Hi there,

When lighting with HDR, sun and some area lights in my scene the HDR seems to add a LOT of noise to the image. Is there a way to clean this up or increase samples for the HDRI? My max samples kernel rate is super high already. tested at 4000, 8000, 10000 and still noise.

Thanks

John

Be sure importance_lighting=ON and using a better HDRI image.

The image is super high res and IMp. is checked by default. Any other suggestions? Any suggestions for a test HDR to see if it's the image I'm using?

Thanks

Try with different hdris. I believe that's not about being mega super highres. Some hdris can't give good results. Alternatively play with gamma of image. Whole this things are not belong to plugins. It's a core based behaviour(itself of renderer) if there's.
