insert a node between 2 how to

I want to insert a node between 2 in the node editor.
I click on alt on the keyboard, the lines become green, ready to be insert I think. But I release the alt nothing happens. I miss something but what ?

It's answered question on release thread. It's inserting but not refreshing the graph. Use "Auto load materials" option or click to get material button
