Hi Paul,
I think there are 2 little bugs in Octane Rhino plugin:

1 - I try to modify a material name from capital letters to lowercas and vice versa. This change has not effect because if I go in another material slot and then I return on the previous material, the type of the name hasn't changed. Instead, if I change the name and the type, it works fine

2 - I modify the color of an rgb texture (on "Select Color" window) but I don't confirm the change pressing "OK"....instead I press "Cancel". If I come back in the "Select Color" window, the color is changed.

bye

This is fixed in the next release.

I could not replicate this issue. Can you provide more details pls?

Thanks

Hi - from those images, it looks like the plugin is working correctly. If you press Cancel - you should be returned to the original color, which appears to be happening from the image you posted.

Hi, Paul,
yes, you are right, but if I decide to change the original color I have to put manually the rgb values because they were changed. And every time I press cancel values change in the "Select color" window.

Click the OK button to change the original color to the color in the color picker dialog.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding your problem?

Hi Paul,
sometime I try another color but I decide not to change it (I press CANCEL) . After I come back in the color select window but the original RGB was changed so... if I want to change a little bit the original color I have to write the original RGB values and after I'm able to modify the color.

I'm sorry - I could not replicate that situation, and your screenshots are not showing that happening either. Perhaps there is something else triggering this issue.

Hi Paul,
maybe I have not explained well the issue.

I'm not saying that color changes, but the screen where you select the colors shows values not congruents with that of the material. I tried with a rhino material and this does not happen (see below)

So it seems not a rhino problem but a Octane plugin problem.

I'm sorry - but I do not understand what the specific bug you are trying to report is. Everything related to the color selection panel appears to be working correctly to me.
