Render TFD smoke/fire separate pass?

Maybe I'm missing something, but what would be the correct way to render fire and smoke on its own separate pass through Octane in C4D?

Hi mike,
you need to use the Render Layer passes to have the volume on a separate pass:

but yah just to be clear i need render them both in the same time. because when i use render i only see one layer in the live window nt sure maybe i am missing something. thank you in advance

Hi albehany,
if you need to have volumes and geometry on two different layers, I guess that the only solution is to render twice, the entire scene without volumes, and then only volumes in render layer mode
