F. OctaneRender for Cinema 4D 3.05.3 R1
G. Cinema 4D R18.041 (Build RB190167)
H. A detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce it:
Materials render wrong in the picture viewer if you use multilayer Photoshop files in an Octane material and select specific layers from that file. Live viewer is fine and works as expected. Sample scene is attached.
I. Copies of the Octane Log window and Console window outputs (full text attached as a file to your post is recommended).
Thanks, Markus

Thanks for report!
There is a different usage for render flags on Bitmaps. Hard to explain things. I'll try to fix with a optimal way for next test release. Btw i hope you don't use bitmaps except for special cases like using layers of psd.

We use Photoshop files regularly for our packshots. Since the scenes aren't memory-intensive we prepare all the textures for a product as layers in a single psd file and load the channels accordingly. That keeps our projects organised and is faster and more flexible.

This should be fixed on 3.06-test4. Have you checked?
