Hello, I'm working on a VR project using the Panoramic Octane Camera in spherical Type mode FovX = 360º and FovY 180º.

The problem is that it is a rather complex scene and Octane takes a long time to export it: 2 minutes. So I can't do a low quality render to make fast animation test since the exporting time is 2 minutes.

I would like to know if anyone has found a solution for low quality animation fast preview in Octane.

Using the C4D native render engine with a very basic setup I get 18 sec render that is ok for me. But I can not use the Panoramic Camera from Octane.

Is there any way to use a camera like the Panoramic Octane but with the C4d Native render engine just to do fast animation previews?

Thanks. Diego

Have you defined why it takes 2 min export?

Hi Aoktar, Well the project has a lot of geometry... some cloners...Im new on Octane, I dont know how to avoid large exporting times.

The first frame takes 2.30 min to be exported and the rest takes 37 sec. I really don't know if these time can be reduced to something like 18 seconds.

Thanks Diego

Then if someone could tell me where to find information or tell me some tricks to make the animation previews test with the panoramic camera as fast as possible I will be very grateful. :)

Thanks, Diego

First you should define which process takes how much time. Then try to decrease the time spent on some processes.
Do you know well the plugin in technical details of processes and tricks? Or need some explanation?

What do you see in render stats for anim rendering here?

Hi, Thank you for the info, I finally managed to reduce export times.

Also waiting for 3.0.6 for C4d, that will help a lot to reduce time.
