Hello All,

From searching the forum, I know others have had this issue before. However, I wasn't able to find a solution.

Any tips on getting rid of this weird "hair squiggle?" It doesn't show up on iray renders, but I'm encountering it frequently with Octane. It appears to have something to do with the hair cap...

Any help would be appreciated!

Reduce the Kernel->Ray Epsilon. If the hair geometry is going through the scalp geometry, you will need to scale the hair out a little so there is no intersection.

Thanks, Paul. That worked. What does Ray Epsilon do, anyway?
