Hi mbetke,
I will ask developers to check it,
I do not understand if there's an issue, but something actually seems to have a problem.

Thanks. :)
There are sveral reported issues with perspective match since a longer time. If you do a forums search you will find I guess.
I think it was never adressed.

Octane rendering core does not support a camera frustrum transformation. Because of that when you are using this feature, you need to be sure the camera shape is not distorted in any way by 3ds Max (it can do this automatically when you are placing the guide-lines on the image)...

On top of what Jimstar has said,
Do not use XYZ perspective match. Use XY. That way max persp camera will not scale non-uniformly. (I guess)

Quick tip.
Once you match the perspective view. Go to view. Save current view.
Some times the roll angle changes. You'll have a saved view angle. And then you continue work if that happens.
