I am loosing the ability to select objects via the viewport. No matter what mode I am in or what selection tool I use, I cannot select objects. This happens after a few minutes of use. I am not sure what triggers it yet. A system restart is the only I have found to fix this but of course it's only temporary and comes back when using C4D.
I tried deleting preferences with no luck there.
I am on Windows 10. Latest Nvidia drivers and using Octane 3.05.1 C4D R16
Very strange issue: Can't select objects C4D

Why did you posted this in Octane forum? Do you believe that's about our plugin?

Good question. I have no idea why it's happening. I thought it could be related to octane use. So far it's happened while using the live viewer. I am curious if anyone else has had the same issue.
It could be an issue that has nothing to do with octane at all. Just thought I would tap this community for some insight.

I think I've found a link as to when this is happening.
I can reproduce the problem on two separate workstations fair consistently. After a restart I immediately launch C4D then chrome browser.I have not pinpointed the moment yet but it seems that a little activity within chrome produces the problem of not being able to select via the viewport in C4D. In either case running Octane at the same time does not seem to have an impact.
Both PC's are running windows 10 and but are on different Nvidia drivers. Both running same version of C4D and Octane.
