I just downloaded this freebie from Inlifethrill - An Octane Spotlight file.
When I open it, and run the LV all is good.
I then press the buttons 1 - 2- or 3, and move around the C4D viewport - That works as well.
But as soon as I release the button - I get an instant crash.
Attached is a screen capture, the freebie file, and a bug report.

Can you try with R18.028? Or what happen with mouse movement?

Will try with R18.028 when I can.
For now I tried with R17.055 - Same issue - Bug report attached.
This is on OSX 10.12.3.
But it was the same yesterday on OSX 10.11.6.
So not related to OSX I think

Thx but i could not reproduce or hear this. So i can't fix without catching that. Thanks for reporting and i'll be looking if it comes up to me.
