Multiple GPU's (different)

Does anybody know if having multiple gpu's affects performance? Not in Octane Render but everything else (gaming etc.)
I have GTX 980 and GTX 560ti in my PC, 980(4GB) of course is primary, 560ti(1GB) for octane only, but still I'm not sure if that combination decreases performance outside Octane.

Not really, your system utilizes whichever GPU which is installed on the first PCIE lane.

You may mix them together but having poor 560 with 980ti makes no sense: heat from weak cards will slow down faster cards.... It's better to sell old cards and get a new one.
